Company Overview

Company founder Kenji Nojo developed Japan’s first sliding body Safety Loader to offer safer, more efficient loading and unloading. His creation was well received and used by many, going on to take the number one production record in Japan. Our company was founded in Hanamidai, Hodogaya Ward, Yokohama City. In 1990 the main office was moved to Iwaki City, where it remains today. Hanamidai Auto then began manufacturing trailers in 1993.

Primary Products / Services

Manufacture and sale of small, medium, and large-size Safety Loaders. Additional manufacture and sales of other trailer types. More recently, we have developed an ultra-low-bed dump trailer which offers twice the loading capacity. It takes into account Japan’s road conditions and already boasts a delivery track record. By cutting the number of required trips in half, we simultaneously reduce CO2 emissions and address the issue of driver shortages.

Company Strengths & Characteristics

●Using foresight to develop advanced transportation equipment By looking ahead at the changes in the transportation industry and the times, we are able to constantly engage in the development of advanced new products.
Our previous development of the Safety Loader, which offers safe and easy loading/unloading of heavy machinery, has granted us a large number of sales. Today, through dump trailer development, we have produced vehicles adapted for Japan’s roads while offering twice the load capacity of conventional vehicles.

Future Prospects & Areas of Interest

●We seek to promote further awareness of our dump trailers, allowing more companies to recognize their benefits, thereby boosting adoption rates. By doing so, we strongly promote proposals to reduce CO2 emissions and work to prepare for the concerns over future driver shortages.
●Japan’s transportation industry may be in a transitional period. It may be time to re-examine our deeply rooted norms of using dump trucks and move towards more efficient transportation using trailers, as is done overseas. Our plan is to continue engaging in efforts to achieve this goal.
