Company Overview

Since its foundation, our company has spent many years contributing to society through its blast surface treatment work. With a focus on high tech hardware development and software development centered on flexible thinking, we work to develop new products and technologies which meet the times and contribute to society through our participation in Fukushima Prefecture Reconstruction Plan projects.
NICCHU has a large blasting machine installed in the Tokyo HD Co., Ltd. Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant and participates in efforts to decontaminate the wastewater tanks.

Primary Products / Services

The surface treatment field is witnessing demand increasing in areas such as the casting industry and for aerospace, automotive, computer, and medical equipment parts. Our main products are shot blasting machines, but we also offer various types of blasting machines, abrasives, parts and repair services, and related equipment. We undertake contract blasting treatment using peening technology and manufacture Cerajet.
We are capable of manufacturing blast machine lot sizes starting from a single unit. We offer contract processing for as low as single-unit work, and have the know-how to blast a variety of materials, including metal, ceramics, glass, stone, plastic, and wood.

Company Strengths & Characteristics

Our company is capable of responding to individual requests and customer specifications for blast machines and can propose optimal combinations of equipment and abrasives in any field. We have a track record of delivering over 20,000 blast machines both domestically and overseas. We also have the supply chain network and technical capabilities to produce and supply abrasives in-house. We participate in the Fukushima Innovation Coast’s fields of decommissioning, renewable energy, and aerospace, and are eager to contribute to the reconstruction of Fukushima.

Future Prospects & Areas of Interest

We will formulate a mid-term plan based on developing new businesses and technologies, future fields we wish to expand into, and major themes such as the FIPO and decarbonization as we develop new products and technologies to establish ourselves in new fields like renewable energy.
As a company working in renewable energy, NICCHU is a member of Wind Valley, and we hope to contribute to the wind power field.
