Company Overview

Our company began as Personal CAR Parts Co., Ltd., a manufacturer of electronic components for automobiles, in 2009. In May 2018, the drone business was separated and established as DroneWorkSystem CO., LTD. We then went on to develop our own drone flight controller and opened a training center. Since 2018 we have developed drones for the agricultural and forestry fields.

Company Strengths & Characteristics

We handle all aspects of industrial drone development in-house, including electronic circuit design, embedded programming, mechanical component design, application development needed for drone services, and operator training.
This allows us to respond quickly to customer needs with complete customizability, enabling us to handle orders for even just one unit. Through our development and manufacturing efforts, we achieved the first domestic Type II certification for a drone weighing over 25 kg with our “DroneWorkSystem model EGL49J-R1.” Today we develop and produce the EAGLE77, which boasts a maximum payload capacity of 77 kg, making it one of the largest practical drones in Japan. We also operate multiple experienced transportation operation teams, which have a good track record at various sites. As a registered training institution, our school business offers courses for the basic first and second class national licenses, as well as courses for exemptions from restrictions for beyond visual line of sight flight, night flight, and operations involving drones over 25 kg.

Future Prospects & Areas of Interest

For our services, we plan to expand our drone-based transportation business with EAGLE49 as our core business, and work to standardize drone transportation work processes, incorporating partial automated navigation to seek ways to reduce labor and increase efficiency, while also working to commercialize even higher payload aircraft.
In terms of development of new technology, we aim to collaborate with relevant companies to create a fully automated and autonomous navigation system utilizing LTE networks, CLAS (Quasi-Zenith Satellite System), and various AI image processing technologies. This will include the development of a disaster response drone equipped to be dustproof and waterproof, as well as experiments focused on long-duration flights using hydrogen fuel.
