After the Great East Japan Earthquake, we began brainstorming waysto aid in the restoration of agriculture in Iwaki City and have engaged in new methods of vegetable cultivation. Agricultural production faces
various difficulties. Producers must adapt to changes in the natural environment such as global warming, rising heating and fuel costs, diversifying market needs, and issues of pests and diseases. Trust must
be built between producers and consumers while also securing stable profits. We work to develop technical control systems for agricultural production environments to tackle these issues and optimize distribution
between producers and consumers.

Company Strengths & Characteristics

By using geothermal control and IT, we produce vegetables using methods which offer high-yields and enhanced functional components.
Specifically, we circulate warm water through underground tubes in winter, and cold water in summer, to optimally control the temperature of vegetable roots. Our techniques have established a production system that is better for the environment and makes it possible to produce an optimal supply to maintain the emand balance between producers and consumers.

Working towards registration of a “functional food” in order to prioritize improvement of company business environment.
