Company Overview

Asaka Riken is a recycling manufacturer that collects and recycles valuable metals from urban mines in a committed effort to make effective use of resources. With techniques honed since our foundation, our company’s primary focus today is recycling lithium ion batteries (LiB) such as those installed in electric vehicles. Aiming to reduce the environmental impact of CO2 emissions, we work along with other companies with the same goals to help build a circular economy

Primary Products / Services

Company Strengths & Characteristics

Asaka Riken has employed its environmental business and precious metals business to protect the environment and make effective use of resources. Both of these fields of business contribute to society through the reimagining of value offered by recycled resources. By collecting and reusing valuable resources found in urban mines, our company helps reduce the environmental impact associated with traditional deforestation and mining. Bolstered by our years of experience, we work to contribute to a more ustainable society today through our resource recycling model propositions to meet modern needs.

Future Prospects & Areas of Interest

Our latest venture is in our new LiB recycling business. We collect rare metals from used lithium ion car batteries and recycle them into reusable LiB materials. In response to the popularization of new-age vehicles in the push to move away from carbon fuels, the LiB market is expanding rapidly. However, the acquisition of and mining for rare metals used heavily in LiBs and other modern devices is causing new environmental problems. Our LiB recycling business seeks to recycle these problematic materials and aid in solving the environmental problems they present. By not only aiding the spread of clean energy and helping to curb CO2 emissions, but establishing a recycling process for valuable rare metals, we aim to further reduce our environmental impact.
